Meet Our Student Support Staff

Reshma Wadhwani - Executive Assistant

Picture
Reshma holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a specialization in Information Technology. Her early-career experience in the HR industry inspired her to pursue a career in business and management, and this prompted her to enroll in Trent University's Business: Human Resource, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship Dual Postgraduate Certificate program. She is really excited to be one of the assistant executives for TDSA in 2022-2023. When she's not working, she loves to explore new places, relax and listen to music. She feels most satisfied when she hires the right candidate, she helps talent grow and sharpen their skills, she works to align the HR department with company goals, and takes the initiative by staying competitive.
She is eager to assist the faculty, the university, and her friends.

Alex Roy - Policy Analyst

Picture
My name is Alex and I am excited to be your Policy Analyst for the upcoming semester! Originally from Richmond Hill, I am a first year student joint majoring in History and Philosophy with a specialization in Ethics. As a visible minority with a disability, I truly believe that lived experience is important when it comes to talking about accessibility and that all voices must be heard when developing a policy paper. Therefore, that’s what I will strive to do. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

Josie Del Rosso - Events Coordinator

She has a passion for student voice and strives to make a positive impact on her community. When she is not in school, she enjoys reading, baking, and doing puzzles.

Avica Singh - Marketing and Communications Assistant

She is currently enrolled into a graduate programme in Marketing & Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management here at Trent. She’s from India and it’s just been a couple months since she moved here. Her interest and passion for marketing stems from her first job at a marketing firm back in India. She is excited to work with the tdsa! She absolutely adores dogs and in her free time you can find her with her friends, on Netflix or listening to music.
