Trent Durham Philosophy Society (TDPS) (The Philosophy Club)

Executives:
Lindsay Gammon

The Trent Durham Philosophy Society (TDPS), or ‘Philosophy Club,’ is a student organization aimed at promoting philosophy as an activity of general importance and interest to the students and faculty of the Trent Durham community. The Philosophy Club is committed to providing students with opportunities outside of the classroom to further their interest in philosophy, connect with others who share their interests, and participate in events that help make philosophy visible at Trent. The TDPS has a rich history, as it is affiliated with the Trent Philosophy Society based on the Symons campus in Peterborough, which is Trent University’s oldest undergraduate student society, having been founded in 1967, only a few years after the founding of the University itself.  We aim to build on this proud tradition by developing an active presence, and offer a place for philosophy oriented students to connect outside the classroom.
